We returned to this bar recently on a Sunday afternoon after several years. They have changed the layout a little bit: there is a DJ station and a dance floor where the door to the outdoor patio used to be (not sure if they still have the patio). The atmosphere however is still the same. The place consists in just one big room with booths on the sides and a big bar in the center; it’s dark with reddish lights which make it very relaxing (well, during the day: I’m sure it’s a different story at night). I was also glad to see that they still can make great strong drinks! Both the bouncer at the door and the bartenders were friendly, and their prices are decent. The only negative part is that they are located in the heart of Miami Downtown, which is very busy and crowded every day at all times and has very limited parking: luckily there is a garage just nearby.

I had such a fun time visiting! They have a great atmosphere, there are also some fun drinks too. I also loved how they had a sit down section to just to chat with your friends and play board games. They also had a club side too so you could really pick your own energy at that time. The dark esthetic and plants everywhere were totally my vibe. If you’re looking for a chill place to drink a few and relax with your friends or dance with your partner then this is the place for you!

Great vibe for a late Friday night. High energy. Two separate areas with different music. Good DJs. The second is much bigger. It wasn’t obvious other than seeing people walking through a passage and not returning.

Sean at Black Bird Ordinary is truly one of a kind! He’s not just a bartender—he’s a mixologist with his own signature style. From his incredible spicy mix to creative, perfectly balanced drinks, every sip was a hit. The vibe he created with great music, friendly conversation, and an all-around welcoming energy made my first Miami experience/trip unforgettable. I always have a great time whenever I come to blackbird! Last night Kavon and Rashad were very helpful in assisting me when I need help with my cousin who was feeling very unwell and needed to leave immediately. All the security guards were great with helping me and I’m very grateful for that. The manager working was also very helpful getting us water and making sure we got home safely! Whenever I’m in the area we will definitely be back!

Great place to go dancing! The bars are well kept, and there is a good variety. Even though they were packed, it was quick and easy to get a drink, as the bartenders were very efficient. The music was great, and I love that there are different styles in the 2 rooms.
